Hey there, this is Laché (la-shay). For so many reasons, I enjoy a great smoothie almost daily. I live in the Montclair district of Oakland, CA just minutes away from the breathtaking Redwood Regional Parks where I enjoy working out several times a week by myself and with the athletes I coach. Running is my exercise of choice; I also love my ElliptiGo bike and a great core workout. After a workout I’ve found the easiest most delicious way to replenish my body, is with a smoothie.

In Blended Recipe episodes to come you’ll discover I am a fanatic for fruity flavors. Although I certainly appreciate the wonderful nutrients you can get with just a handful of veggies, and my current favorite recipe is the #1 Avocado Smoothie!

Some days life seems to get in the way of all the wonderful meals I planned on cooking, truthfully that’s everyday. My husband who’s a track Olympian, and personal trainer and I truly value nutrition and want to be authentic in our teachings. But with our busy work schedules that push us out the door by 7am and allure for weekend getaways we also deeply value our time. Which is why I always stock our fridge with our favorite smoothie ingredients. While I’m no Rachel Ray in the kitchen I feel great about starting the day with a scrumptious smoothie and it keeps us healthy and happy!
